Fifth
annual Merrill Lynch Bull Run to benefit United Way
Lace up your shoes and stretch
your calves for the fifth annual Merrill Lynch Bull Run
presented by The Sailfish Striders on March 6 in Stuart.
Although runners aren’t actually
chased by bulls during the 5k run/walk, they do race the
clock for bragging rights with hopes of winning the
coveted Bull Run trophy while raising money for United
Way of Martin County.
Individual runners can compete in
age groups or round up three friends and run as a team.
Team divisions include all-male, all-female or mixed.
Registration begins at 7 a.m. and
the race starts at 8 a.m. near the Merrill Lynch
office, 2301 S.E. Monterey Road, Stuart. The entry fee
is $20 per person before Feb. 26 and $25 after. The
first 100 entrants also receive a free race T-shirt.
