Resource Investment Panel proposal review:

Proposals are reviewed by United Way volunteers and staff. The
review process looks for programs that address the priority needs set by the United Way Board of Directors. Using the
written proposal, oral presentations and site visits, the volunteer panels
make
recommendations regarding program-funding requests. The
panels forward their recommendations to the Resource Investment
Committee for deliberation. The committee then makes recommendations
to the Board of Directors, which makes the final decisions on
funding. The United Way of Martin County does not have an appeal
process.
