Nominees sought for outstanding employee Pillar of Character Award

CHARACTER COUNTS! has extended the deadline to March 10 for nominating someone as an outstanding employee of character in Martin County.

CHARACTER COUNTS!, a program of United Way of Martin County, invites employers and colleagues to submit nominations for the annual Outstanding Employee Pillar of Character Award.

Simply write a one-page letter describing how your employee or co-worker demonstrates one or more of the Six Pillars of Character -- Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring or Citizenship. Then mail, e-mail or fax the letter to:

The six winning employees will be highlighted in the media and recognized at their workplace. Winners receive a prize-filled gift basket and a plaque. Prizes are sponsored by attorney David Golden.
