CHARACTER COUNTS! announces summer project tour

PRESS RELEASE DATE: JUNE 15, 2009

Two CHARACTER COUNTS! mini-grant projects are currently touring Martin County libraries.

The CHARACTER COUNTS! at Indiantown Middle School banner, created by Mollie McGeehon, along with the History of Indiantown Collages: The Six Pillars of Character Collages, created by 303 Warfield Elementary students under Lynda Swift's guidance, will be on display now through August 14.

Summer Tour Schedule:

Elizabeth Lahti Indiantown Library: June 15 to July 2

Hobe Sound Library: July 7 to July 17

Blake Library: July 20 to July 31

Robert Morgade Library: August 3 to August 14

"Both these projects were funded through 2008/09 CHARACTER COUNTS! grants and the tour was made possible by Judi Snyder, Renita Pressler and the Martin County Library System," CHARACTER COUNTS! Director Holly Laiben said.

"Everyone is invited to visit one of the libraries this summer to view the displays and experience all the great resources our Martin County libraries can offer."
