CHARACTER COUNTS!
is calling on all good sports to sign up
for the sixth annual “Tee It Up for
Character” charity golf tournament.
The tournament will
be played at Monarch Country Club on
Thursday, April 24. The format is a
four-person scramble with a shotgun
start at 1 p.m. The entry fee is $125
and includes a dinner buffet, goodie
bags and awards. Every player also
receives a complimentary future round of
golf at Monarch and an Enjoyment Dining
Out Book.
This year, the
tournament features an exciting new
addition: The $10,000 Shoot-Out Putting
Contest, sponsored by John Pierson’s
Toyota of Stuart. The Shoot-Out starts
at noon and has a $20 fee. Entrants will
compete for the chance to sink a 50-foot
putt worth $10,000.
Further prizes pop
up during the golf tourney itself. Each
par-3 hole has a hole-in-one prize,
including a 2008 Toyota Prius and other
gifts from Toyota of Stuart and a resort
getaway courtesy of Monarch.
The buffet dinner
following the tournament features a live
auction, with prizes including foursomes
at Jupiter Hills Club, McArthur Golf
Club, Jupiter Ritz-Carlton Golf Club,
Frenchman’s Creek Country Club and The
Tesoro Club.
A raffle offers the
chance for a free Mulligan as well as a
chance to win an array of dining and
golf packages.
