Joe Kordick Youth Character Awards Academic year 2004-05

The annual Joe Kordick Youth Character Awards honor middle and high school students whose lives and achievements demonstrate an enduring commitment to qualities associated with good character.

The students are nominated by the faculty of their schools and submit an essay on personal values. The high school finalists also participate in an interview process.

This year, students wrote essays about their hurricane experiences and how their attitudes about volunteering have changed.
