Why I
Believe in Leaving A Legacy . . .
“I loved the years I served on the United Way Board, as 1999 Campaign Chair and Past Board President. I deeply appreciated the staff and army of volunteers who were unwavering in their commitment to address the unmet needs in Martin County by efficiently allocating funds to local agencies.
As Superintendent of the Martin County School District for 14 years, I witnessed on a daily basis how the generous community gifts helped improve lives.
What an opportunity we have in legacy giving to the United Way Foundation to continue touching these precious lives, caring for children, families and our community into future generations!”
