Why I
Believe in Leaving A Legacy . . .
“I have been involved with United Way virtually
all my adult life. I served as Campaign Chairman in
my home town in Michigan and have served on the
boards of several United Way agencies. I have
witnessed firsthand the remarkable work the staff
and volunteers perform and the wonderful impact on
our communities. Because I believe in the concept of
one gift supporting many charitable organizations, I
have contributed financially, as well as
volunteered. For those of us who have supported the
United Way during our lives, I think it is vital
that we perpetuate that support through legacy gifts
- to insure the important work done by these
agencies is carried forward long into the future. A
gift to the United Way Foundation endowment fund
will insure help is there for kids and families for
years to come.”
