United Way gives away car!

United Way of Martin County and MASSEY-YARDLEY Chrysler Dodge teamed for the second straight year to encourage more people to “Step Up” and help their community through the United Way Step Up Challenge sweepstakes.

This year, the prize was a black, 2008 Dodge Avenger. To be eligible, people 18 and older were asked to make a donation of $52 (a dollar a week) to United Way of Martin County's Common Good Fund. It could be a new donation or an increase over the past year’s donation.

The winner for 2008 was Danielle Smith, an employee at the Publix store at Cove Road and U.S. 1.
