We're sorry, but the dealine for families to register for help has passed. Please register with your child's school, a local agency, or your church next year.
United Way of Martin County's White Doves Holiday Project is the official local coordinating organization for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program. The program helps struggling families during the holidays by providing toys for their children and staples for a holiday meal. About 1,200 families are referred each year by social service agencies, schools and faith-based groups.
In order to qualify for assistance, families in need must be referred in advance so that the logistics of collecting, sorting and distribution can be arranged. Once families are identified, they receive food and toys on distribution days with the help of volunteer "shoppers" who assist them in "shopping" for free toys for their children.
